Opening your coding space…Each activity has its own saved code.

Your helpful controls

  • Run my code starts your program from the beginning.
  • Stop ends the current run.
  • Reset example restores this activity's original code after you confirm.
  • Download my work keeps your edited program as a .py file.

Questions and drawings

When your program uses input(), an answer box appears. Type a pretend answer and select Send answer.

When it uses turtle, a drawing space appears in the lesson.

Use Tab for four spaces. After a line ending with a colon, Enter helps indent the next line. If you make a mistake, read the error and check the line number.

Keep your creations

Every activity saves its code separately in this browser on this device. Come back to the same activity to carry on, then select Run my code.

Browser data can be cleared, and private browsing may not keep your work. Ask a grown-up to help you download anything you want to keep. On a shared computer, the next person using this browser can see the saved code. Use pretend names and details.

Ready?
